Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker was born with performing in her blood. Her star rose early and easily. Trained in singing and ballet as a young child, in 1976, at the age of 11, Parker was cast in the Broadway revival of The Innocents, and continued in musical theatre until she took over the title role of the Broadway musical “Annie”, staying with the production until 1980. Following Broadway, Parker made a successful transition to the big screen. Always cute and adorable – if a bit geeky – in secondary supporting roles, the role of leading lady eluded her … until in 1998 she was cast as Carrie Bradshaw in the ratings monster Sex and the City. With the cancellation of the series, her star status hasn’t faltered. She continues to act on stage, gets leading roles in feature films, is a fashion icon releasing her own clothing line and perfumes.
