Teri Hatcher

Teri Hatcher grew up in Sunnyvale California and was a cheerleader in high school. She then went to San Francisco to study acting and became a member of the San Francisco cheerleading squad. Her first major success was the TV series Lois and Clark which ran from 1993-1997. Before then, she had appeared in numerous TV series and worked in a few feature films. When Lois and Clark ended she landed a co-starring role in the Bind film Tomorrow Never Die”. Then it seemed like Hatcher’s career took a nose dive. She landed the occasional movie role and appeared in a series of Radio Shacks TV ads. In 2004, just when she thought her career was over, Hatcher was cast as Susan Mayer in the TV series Desperate Housewives. The show became an instant hit and Teri Hatcher was in the TV spotlight once again. She and the show have been nominated for many awards and she has won both SAG and Golden Globe awards for her role on the show.
